Unstoppable Artists is our artist development program.

From models, actors, singers, fine artists, and dancers to producers, directors, writers, jugglers, and investors, if you're interested in joining a group of winners on their way to the top, you've found your home. No matter how you are involved with the arts and entertainment, if you're intent is to kick some ass in this business, and if you're ready to do the work, we'd love to help.

Note: This is NOT your typical entertainment group.

First off, Unstoppable Artists is back (keep reading) and better than ever before! Welcome to a place of infinite inspiration, networking, and motivation, with an ever present reminder that we look very much forward to meeting you… at the top!

Some background: In 1999, after publishing “The Theatrical Juggernaut – The Psyche of the Star” (still a 5-star bestseller on Amazon), Monroe Mann created a motivational coaching firm called Unstoppable Actors, which morphed into Unstoppable Artists Business School. That school eventually became Monroe's entertainment law firm, The Law Offices of Monroe Mann. It was a really great community.

Unfortunately, the amazing "community" got lost due to four incidents:

  1. Monroe's deployment to Iraq with the US Army in 2005
  2. The ill-fated decision to dissolve Unstoppable Artists, trying to unsuccessfully morph the community into a law firm
  3. The exciting (but distracting) process of producing and shooting his feature film, “You Can’t Kill Stephen King” with co-producer/co-director Ronnie Khalil in 2010 (which has been released in 15+ countries)
  4. The five-year process of earning his PhD in psychology

Well, good news! As of March 2016, he is now Dr. Mann, having finally earned his PhD in psychology. That summer, he began creating this not-for-profit. Even cooler news: for his dissertation research, he focused on determining the decision-making processes of successful entertainers, and what he discovered… will blow your mind.

Fast forward to today: as part of Unstoppable Artists, I (Monroe) want to share what I’ve learned with others. Around summer 2016, I realized it was high time to put all of these accolades and experiences to good work, and I thought of no better way to do so than by relaunching Unstoppable Artists, and this time through the umbrella of Break Diving.

After some soul searching, I realized I needed to separate my entertainment legal work from Unstoppable Artists. A law firm has no ‘community’. Unstoppable Artists over the years most certainly DID. So I have set out to recreate the community that so many people once loved and cherished, and I’m proud to report that Unstoppable Artists has been relaunched, not only here in NY, but also worldwide!

What is Unstoppable Artists? On the surface, it’s a unique gathering place for winners in entertainment: career networking; business and legal training; psychological support; book writing get-togethers; improv, music, and stand-up practice groups; screen and tv writing writing sessions; YouTube producer get togethers; and this list goes on and on.

But it’s more than your typical entertainment community for three collective reasons:

  • First, it’s run by someone who has had an undeniable measure of success in the arts and knows what it takes to move forward in this business
  • Second, it’s run by someone who through both his PhD and his personal experiences, fully understands the psychology behind entertainment success and failure (and their accompanying demons)
  • Third, it’s run by an entertainment attorney with an MBA and a Masters in Entrepreneurship, i.e. someone who understands how easily people can get screwed in this business, from a simple actor performance contract or a multi-national film distribution deal to simply not having a clearly delineated business or marketing plan

Put these three unique aspects together, and you’ll realize that this isn’t some lame trite run-of-the-mill waste-of-time entertainment get-together. On the contrary, it’s potentially the very thing you’ve been looking for to survive and indeed THRIVE in this business: a place to meet and interact with people who not only get the business, but also the psychology and the law, with whom you can network, become friends, and ultimately make projects together. What kind of projects? Successful projects, of course! :D
